Electrolube India Releases Record Sales
July 5, 2019 | ElectrolubeEstimated reading time: 3 minutes
Global electro-chemicals manufacturer, Electrolube, has announced record growth figures for its manufacturing operation in India. Based in Bangalore, Electrolube India’s gross turnover for 2017-2018 rose by an outstanding 40% on the previous year, with the trend showing no signs of slowing down. Electrolube first established a local sales and warehouse presence in India 7 years ago and took a significant step forward in 2016 to set up a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Bangalore, strategically located close to the major electronics manufacturing hubs of Southern India.
In line with the Indian Government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative to encourage and promote local manufacturing across the country, Electrolube India’s growth has been accelerated by the clear local supply benefits and straightforward import process on material, which prevents delays for customers. Ahead of the game, the strategic move has enabled the company to grow exponentially with leading Indian OEMs now favouring Electrolube products for industrial, LED, mobile technology and consumer electronics manufacturing.
Electrolube India has received key local acclaim and recognition with the award of the EM Best Conformal Coating Awards for several successive years. The operation has also been awarded one of the world’s most recognised standards, the ISO 9001-2015, based upon verification of numerous quality management principles as well as strong customer focus and a culture of continual improvement.
Prior to establishing a manufacturing presence in India, Electrolube originally sold products manufactured at their UK and Chinese factories, but quickly discovered that nothing can replace local market experience and knowledge. The company’s expert chemists applied their knowledge to the local market and developed products using locally sourced materials at keenly competitive prices. These products, specifically created to meet the demands of customers in India, have the endorsement of Electrolube’s UK R&D team and have proven to be so effective that they have been adopted into many additional territories.
As a collaborative solutions provider, Electrolube works in partnership with manufacturers, solving issues and providing expert guidance to help improve processes, productivity and ultimately the quality and reliability of customer products. To increase customer engagement and help resolve manufacturing issues, Electrolube India will be hosting a Technology Day in September 2019. The event is designed to provide visitors with a comprehensive overview of the company’s leading range of thermal management solutions, conformal coatings and encapsulation resins and to discuss electronics protections solutions with Electrolube’s senior chemists.
Ron Jakeman, Managing Director of Electrolube, said, “We are delighted to announce our excellent year-end results. The market for LED applications has undoubtedly played a key part in this outstanding result as we have experienced huge demand for our products in this area. The result is a real credit to our dedicated workforce, fast lead times, responsive technical support, reliability of supply and continual development of innovative products that meet local demands. With a clear vision for the future in India, we are looking forward to further growth in the year ahead.”
