Qisda to Set Up Subsidiary in Vietnam

EMS provider Qisda has disclosed it will invest US$40 million to set up a wholly-owned subsidiary in Vietnam, Qisda Vietnam, to cope with impacts from the US-China trade war.
Qisda has moved LCD display production from China to Taiwan for exports to the US, with monthly production capacity to gradually hike from about 200,000 units at present to about 600,000 units in fourth-quarter 2019.
