MicroCare to Deliver Electronics Cleaning Presentation at SMTA New England Expo

MicroCare Corporation, in collaboration with other industry affiliates is participating in a technical symposium at SMTA New England Expo on October 8, 2019 at the Boxboro Regency Hotel and Conference Center in Boxboro, MA.
The reliability-focused symposium will bring together electronics industry leaders to deliver presentations in the areas of their own expertise.
Tom Tattersall, Executive Vice President and COO at MicroCare, will be on hand to present Perfecting a Cleaning Process for Hi-Rel Electronics for Reliability in Electronics, illustrating how electronics cleaning can be an important tool for enhancing PCB performance and reliability.
“Cleaning electronics offers a simple economic trade-off. It adds some manufacturing costs but it can also speed throughput, minimize waste, reduce warranty expenses and extend product service lives,” Tattersall said.
“The key is to help improve productivity, boost quality and ensure PCB reliability through cleaning in a safe, economical, and environmentally-acceptable manner,” he concluded.
Tattersall is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at MicroCare Corporation. He has been in the field of critical cleaning for more than 30 years and is an expert on vapor degreasing and modern cleaning fluid technologies. He leads the MicroCare Critical Cleaning Business with the goal to help companies enhance their cleaning processes in industries as diverse as electronics, metal finishing, transportation, photonics, medical devices, and aerospace.
Also presenting at the Surface Mount Technology Association (SMTA) sponsored symposium will be Indium Corporation’s Megan Sloan, Bubba Powers from Weller Professional Tools – North America, Eric Cowan from Stanley Black and Decker, Chrys Shea from Shea Engineering Services and Dr. Mark Currie and Dr. Neil Poole from Henkel Electronics.
