PCB West 2019 Draws Crowd of Designers and Engineers

The I-Connect007 team just returned from another successful PCB West 2019. Held at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Silicon Valley September 9-12, PCB West drew a crowd of PCB designers and design engineers, along with a variety of fabricators and assembly technologists too.
In addition to the one-day exhibition, designers could take advantage of the four-day technical conference, which offered 59 presentations, as well as IPC’s Certified Interconnect Designer classes.
After the exhibition, UP Media Group President Pete Waddell joined Technical Editor Kelly Dack and me for an acoustic Porch Dawg reunion in the lobby of the Hyatt Santa Clara.
Later in the evening, we were treated to some fine dance moves by Judy Warner of Altium, Tara Dunn of Omni PCB, and Frances Stewart, UPMG’s VP of sales and marketing. It was just like old times, except we’re older now, or “vintage,” as Judy says!
PCB West was a great way to start a busy show season.
