Viscom Wins Mexico Technology Award for High-end X-ray System

Viscom Inc. was awarded a 2019 Mexico Technology Award in the category of Inspection – X-ray for its X8068 SL X-ray system. The award was presented to the company during a Wednesday, October 23, 2019 ceremony that took place during the SMTA Guadalajara Expo & Tech Forum.
Viscom's X8068 SL was developed to meet today's special requirements of high-end electronics manufacturers in the electromobility and renewable energies sectors. This new inline X-ray system (AXI) handles inspections of a wide range of power electronics, larger printed circuit boards and dense components.
Being an exceptionally strong, precise and reliable machine, the X8068 is able to inspect heavy objects weighing up to 15kg (33lbs) which are transported on special carriers measuring up to 40cm by 40cm (15.7" x 15.7").
The Mexico Technology Awards acknowledge the latest innovations available in Mexico produced by OEM manufacturing equipment and materials suppliers over the last 12 months.
