MacDermid Alpha Scientist, Anna Lifton, to Serve as President of SMTA Philadelphia Chapter

Anna Lifton, Research and Development Manager at MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions, a world leader in the production of electronics soldering and bonding materials, was recently appointed President of the SMTA (Surface Mount Technology Association) Philadelphia Chapter.
A regular presenter at both local and national SMTA events and conferences, this is Anna Lifton’s first opportunity to serve in a leadership role within the SMTA organization. “I have attended many past events organized by local SMTA groups, including the SMTA Philadelphia Chapter”, said Lifton. “I am looking forward to this new role and contributing to the Chapter’s mission and local outreach.”
Lifton’s tenure as Chapter President began at this year’s SMTA International Conference and Expo and continues through October of 2020. SMTA Chapters host a variety of educational and social events throughout the year to provide local SMTA members opportunities to network and learn about the latest technologies and changes in the industry.
