INSPECTIS Offers New High Magnification Lenses—Over 500X
November 4, 2019 | Inspectis Optical Systems ABEstimated reading time: 1 minute
Inspectis AB has ‘answered the call’ from customers for higher magnification. Now up to ten times (10x) more magnification can be obtained with the INSPECTIS F30 and U30 Series cameras by using the new HD-142 +28 Diopter and HD-143 +55 Diopter add-on lenses. Using the +55 lens at 30x zoom, for example, provides a screen magnification of over 500x.
The lenses are suitable for the Inspectis F30/F30s FHD and U30/U30s 4K cameras. In making the announcement, Alistair Gooch, Marketing Manager, said, “The real benefits of using the higher magnification power become apparent when using the 4K vision camera with their greater resolving power. These new lenses will greatly assist those wanting the benefits of 4K video inspection, but who also need closer inspection of very small components and their attachment. Examples would include the examination of wire bonding or laser welds, or other surface details that may be unclear at lower magnifications.”
In addition, Gooch noted that INSPECTIS is releasing new accessories that complement high magnification applications. These include a new version of the rack and pinion adaptor with both a coarse and fine-geared adjustment with only 0.1mm travel per knob revolution, making work at very high magnifications easier and smoother. Adaptors are available for mounting on a range of INSPECTIS stands.
A powerful Universal LED Backlight with 6200K color temperature and adjustable light intensity is also available and features robust high quality aluminum construction with a glass protection plate. The use of backlighting is standard practice in microscopy, and its addition to the current INSPECTIS lighting offering of ring lights and goose neck mounted LED arrays further extends the comprehensive range of INSPECTIS solutions.
INSPECTIS Microscopes are available in two basic models. All-in-one, plug-and-play systems with integrated stand and built-in white LED illumination and modular systems configurable with different stands, illuminations, lenses and image capture options. INSPECTIS will be exhibiting at productronica in Hall A2 Booth 308 at the Munich show November 12 – 15, 2019.
