EMI Installs Scienscope Microfocus X-ray Systems

Scienscope International, an American supplier of cabinet-style micro-focus X-ray systems, has announced that EMI, one of the largest OEM manufacturers in Southern California, has purchased three Scienscope AXC-800 component counters.
The company is currently in the process of purchasing another Scienscope counter, an AXC-800 III, to strengthen their relationships with key customers. This system provides real-time, transparent inventory communication, while guaranteeing lead time and accurate inventory, and making component tracing automatic.
Scienscope is debuting the next-generation desktop component counter at productronica, November 12-16, 2019 in Munich, Germany. The next-generation machine features internal barcode scanning and MES integration.
According to Scienscope President and Chief Designer Eddy Lin, the latest component counter should be easier to use than a microwave and just as fast.
