Altus to Introduce Kitov for the First Time at the Southern Manufacturing and Electronics Exhibition

Altus Group, a leading distributor of capital equipment for the electronics assembly industry is pleased to introduce Kitov, innovators in fully automated inspection solutions, for the first time at the Southern Manufacturing and Electronics Exhibition, Farnborough from 11-13 February 2020.
Kitov will add a new dimension to the company’s impressive range of products, which features equipment from leading manufacturers including Koh Young, YJ Link, Cencorp Automation, Optilia and Scienscope.
The Altus team will be on hand at stand J120 to offer invaluable advice and support for visitors during the exhibition and will introduce some of the most novel equipment available to the industry. As its first appearance on the Altus stand, Kitov’s fully automated Smart visual inspection solutions which incorporates full 3D coverage will be demonstrated.
Also taking centre stage is Koh Young’s newest ‘Smart’ products including the next-generation Zenith2 3D AOI platform. KSMART will also be exhibited which incorporates an ‘Intelligent Platform’ ensuring the highest level of connectivity for all the inspection stations, enhancing overall automation capability.
Advanced desktop visual inspection instruments from Optilia will also be available to view. Optilia’s latest BGA inspection platform which produces high-resolution digital pictures with exceptional colour and detailed definition will be presented during the three day event.
Scienscope AXC-800, a best-in-class automated component counting machine will also join the line-up. Using micro-focus x-ray technology and a high-resolution digital image detector for accurate counting of standard SMT or TH components, it has already proven itself to be a popular addition to any manufacturing facility.
Completing the range on display is a Smart Conveyor System from YJ Link. This has been developed through the improvement of the operational system of individual facilities and network interface to bring it in line with the rapidly-changing SMT market.
