Epec Engineering Technologies recently donated a portion of their online sales to United Way of Greater New Bedford.
Since 1953, United Way of Greater New Bedford proudly serves residents throughout the Southcoast, with a primary focus on residents from the cities and towns of Acushnet, Dartmouth, Fairhaven, Freetown, Marion, Mattapoisett, New Bedford, Rochester, and Wareham.
During the recent pandemic, they started the COVID-19 Response Fund, which has already generated more than $250,000 to help bring assistance to individuals and families impacted by lost wages, and the closure of schools, day cares, and non-essential businesses.
Ed McMahon, CEO of Epec commented: "We are always looking to give back to the community in any way we can. I am a big supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project, which Epec donates to on a yearly basis, so, giving back to our community in a time of need is the least that we can do."
Epec has made a donation of $10,000 to this great cause to help the community they are a part of.
