KYZEN Sponsored Successful SMTAI Women’s Connection Reception
October 6, 2020 | KyzenEstimated reading time: 1 minute
KYZEN, the global leader in innovative environmentally friendly cleaning chemistries, was proud to once again sponsor the SMTAI Women’s Connection Reception that was held virtually last week. It was the perfect way to cap off the exciting Women’s Leadership Program that was part of the Conference at SMTA International 2020.
The SMTAI Women’s Leadership Program promotes, encourages and inspires women to navigate and succeed in the electronics manufacturing industry. This year’s program was focused on automotive and technology in general keeping the “Road Trip” theme through-out. Following the presentations everyone was invited to participate in “Fuel Stop” mentoring discussions to cover a wide variety of challenges that women in our industry face.
The virtual program was topped off with a fun-filled ‘Connection Reception’ featuring a cocktail demonstration, complete with toasts from the audience, ‘We Can’t Travel Trivia’ and ended in ‘Car Trip Karaoke’.
This was the eighth year in a row that KYZEN sponsored this event. “I think this was the most successful reception to date,” said Sherry Stepp, Global Marketing Manager at KYZEN, “Going virtual was a challenge but it worked beautifully. It worked so well that the committee has decided to adjust and expand the program to a monthly occurrence.”
The SMTA will be announcing the program soon and details will be available on the smta.org website.
