Waygate Technologies Relaunches Industrial Inspection Ecosystem InspectionWorks
December 14, 2020 | Waygate TechnologiesEstimated reading time: 1 minute

Waygate Technologies, world leader in industrial inspection solutions and non-destructive testing (NDT), has released a completely revised and extended version of its flagship ecosystem for inspection data management, InspectionWorks. The upgrade includes an easy-to-use and customer centric user interface and user experience design as well as new features including fleet management, remote monitoring diagnostics, inspection data storage and advanced analytics.
Milestone for holistic inspection management platform
The release marks an important milestone for Waygate Technologies in its commitment to offer an integrated software ecosystem for inspection management. InspectionWorks covers all activities from the planning and dispositioning of devices, to the collection, analysis and storage of data with one single platform. Customers can thereby handle their inspection management holistically, improving design, manufacturing, operations and later servicing of their products. This increases productivity and reliability and lifts inspection from a necessary control step to a valuable service. InspectionWorks is compatible both with Waygate Technologies hardware solutions and third party products.
“Predictive maintenance and operational intelligence rely on analytics, automated defect recognition or deep learning on both inspection and/or machine data. They enable our customers to predict issues before they arise by harnessing histrocial data and give actionable insights to make better and faster decisions. For us, this is the future of industrial inspection”, says Arungalai Anbarasu, CTO at Waygate Technologies. “It is an area where we excel because we can combine the enormous amount of inspection data we collected during the last decades with insights that only a company like Waygate Technologies can reliably provide”.
InspectionWorks is part of Waygate Technologies’ strategy to grow from a provider of NDT hardware with renowned service capability to a key partner for data insights and solutions that enable customers to drive their own digital transformation and give them a competitive edge in their respective markets.

10/13/2025 | Dan Beaulieu -- Column: It's Only Common Sense“Good enough” is not good enough in business. Not anymore. “Good enough” is a death sentence in today’s market. Too many companies hide behind their ISO certificates, ITAR registrations, and shiny badges of compliance as if those are supposed to impress customers, but certifications are table stakes. Everyone has them. If you think that’s your differentiator, you’re already in the grave; you just don’t know it.

10/08/2025 | Anaya Vardya -- Column: Standard of ExcellenceNo matter how refined the processes, how seasoned the team, or how sophisticated the technology, mistakes happen in business. A shipment goes out late. A part doesn’t meet spec. A miscommunication causes frustration. It’s the part of customer service that no one likes to talk about, but every company must master how to respond when things go wrong.
