LITEON Technology Reports Consolidated December Sales of NT$13.44 Billion

LITEON Technology reported its December consolidated revenue of NT$13.44 billion, down 3% M-o-M and 2% Y-o-Y, excluding transferred SSD business. Thanks to the stable demand from its core business, cumulative sales for the entire year of 2020 totaled NT$157.11 billion.
Opto-electronics business segment contributed a 20% share of total sales. Thanks to ongoing demand growth from LED components, of which the invisible LEDs used in industrial automation, 5G and AIoT applications, UV LED applied to medical, disinfection, water and air purification, coupled with delivery growth of LED vehicle lighting, Opto-electronics posted a growth of over 10% Y/Y in December.
Information & Communication Technologies business accounted for 75% of sales, of which, high-end server and networking power management systems for cloud computing, power supplies for AI smart home devices and gaming applications, and IT keyboards and peripherals presented yearly delivery growth.
