Okayama Murata Manufacturing Completes New Production, Welfare Buildings

Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd.’s production subsidiary Okayama Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Setouchi City, Okayama Prefecture) has been expanding its welfare and energy buildings Construction of a new production building was initiated in December 2019 and was just recently completed.
Completion of the new production building creates infrastructure that allows Murata to respond to mid- to long-term demand increases for ceramic parts due to the higher functionality of electronic devices and the electrification of automobiles.
Additionally, the newly expanded welfare building contributes to the enhancement of employee welfare such as by providing a meeting and cafeteria space in anticipation of future personnel increases.
