KYZEN’s Secure Supply Chain Benefits Customers
March 8, 2021 | KyzenEstimated reading time: 1 minute
KYZEN, the global leader in innovative environmentally friendly cleaning chemistries, is pleased to announce that despite difficult weather in the middle Tennessee area of the United States, operations continue to meet customer demand. As a result of careful and organized planning, KYZEN'S Headquarters and North American production site, located in the heart of Tennessee, are unaffected and customer orders remain uninterrupted.
Over the last 30+ years, KYZEN has followed a customer-focused operation plan that boasts 72 hours or less lead times for shipping of all orders. This plan has been tested over the years, but never as much as in the past year, starting with the global pandemic in mid-March 2020, which also brought an F3 Tornado to the area, and most recently with the record snowstorm. However, KYZEN remains steadfast and dependable, despite these challenges.
“Nashville generally does not get much winter weather. There have been only two snowfalls greater than an inch or two in the past 25 years. So the February snow and below-freezing temperatures that caused such disruption in Texas and other parts of the country resulted in an unusual week for us,” said Tom Forsythe, KYZEN Executive Vice President. “However, while we had minor snags, we were able to meet every one of our customers’ needs without incident. Thankfully, a week after the snow, temperatures rose quickly, melting the snow, and life now is completely back to normal.”
For KYZEN, “normal” means that shipments are scheduled to leave in 72 hours or less after orders are received. This supports customer’s needs for surety of supply and limited on-site inventories.“Partnering with KYZEN means that you will not be let down. We pride ourselves on preparedness, timeliness and reliability, even when Mother Nature has other plans,” added Forsythe.
