EPTAM Precision, Mendell Join Forces

EPTAM Precision Solutions, a Frazier Healthcare Partners portfolio company, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Mendell Machine and Manufacturing. Mendell is a medical component manufacturer located in Lakeville, MN that specializes in precision CNC micro-machining of implantable devices for the orthopedic, structural heart, cardiovascular, and endovascular markets. The transaction allows the companies to combine complementary capabilities, providing customers a one-stop shop for Orthopedic, Cardiovascular, Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS), and Robotic-Assisted Surgery (RAS) components.
Founded in 1981, EPTAM is an outsourced manufacturer of medical device, implants, single-use medical disposable devices, and other high-precision components. The Company has expertise with polymer machining, precision metal machining, and injection molding, and offers a range of value-added services such as process validation, design-for-assembly, cleanroom assembly, and technical program management solutions. EPTAM has over 450 employees with operations in New Hampshire, Colorado, and New Jersey.
With the acquisition, EPTAM expands and diversifies its portfolio of capabilities, offering customers a single partner of choice to solve all their high-precision metals and plastics manufacturing requirements. Mendell’s core focus in precision CNC micro-machining for medical applications brings industry-leading expertise to the EPTAM team.
