LITEON Technology Reports Consolidated June Sales of NT$13.48 Billion, up 3% YoY

LITEON Technology (2301-tw) reported its June consolidated revenue of NT$13.48 billion, up 3% Y-o-Y and down 1% M-o-M; the second quarter consolidated sales of NT$40.68 billion, up 8% Q-o-Q and 6% Y-o-Y, excluding transferred SSD and Silitech, which would not be consolidated into LITEON’s financial report starting from 2021. Thanks to the stable demand from its core business, cumulative sales for January to June totaled NT$78.39 billion, up 14% Y-o-Y.
Opto-electronics business contributed a 21% share of total sales, of which, the ongoing demand growth from LED components driven by invisible LEDs used in industrial automation, 5G and AIoT applications, UV LED applied to medical, disinfection, water and air purification, smoothly delivery of high-end Mini LED, coupled with shipment growth of LED vehicle lighting supported Opto-electronics a growth of 10% Y-o-Y in June.
Cloud & AIoT business contributed a 27% share of total sales. Thanks to stable demand from datacenter server and networking power management systems for cloud computing, Cloud & AIoT posted a consecutive monthly growth.
Information Technology & Consumer Electronics business accounted for 52% of total revenue, of which, NB power supplies, laser models of Multi-Function Peripherals, IT keyboards and mice posted consecutive yearly delivery growth.
