Visiting Scanfil Sites during COVID-19
August 20, 2021 | ScanfilEstimated reading time: 1 minute
When COVID-19 hit the world in early 2020 none of us could imagine how big the impact will be. We were forced to change the ways how we conduct business; maybe one of the biggest changes was and still is the lack of physical meetings. This has forced us all to find new ways to interact with each other.
All Scanfil factories are equipped with possibility to arrange virtual factory tours. Utilizing modern high tech equipment and having the key people guiding the tour makes this experience as authentic as possible. It is possible to arrange anything from first visit to the factory into a highly complex audits.
In an audit you can see the whole material flow from incoming goods going into production and finally to shipping. You can see how Autonomous Vehicles (AIV) work hand in hand with Cobots or how chips are placed into the board.
You can ask questions in real time and cameras can be zoomed into very small details if needed; the possibilities are unlimited.
Virtual factory tours are smart way to save time, money and can easily replace many of the face-to-face visits.
If you want to know more, call or email your Scanfil contact and we will make your wishes come through.
