Libra Industries Brings in VP of Business Development to Keep Pace with Growth

Libra Industries, a privately-held systems integration and electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider, is pleased to announce that it has hired a new VP of Business Development. Wade Henderson is a competitive, strategic business development executive – with extensive experience growing industrial sales across medical, aero, military, oil/energy and green markets.
As Libra continues to pursue acquisitions, Henderson is an ideal fit with international business expertise with customer and operational responsibility in Americas, Europe and Asia. He has experience in technical sales for metal stampings, sheet metal fabrication, welding, machining, powder metal, metal injection molding, integration, high level assembly, PCBA, plastics and backplanes/interconnect.
Andrew Williams, Senior VP of Business Development, commented: “We are delighted to have Wade join the Libra team leading our mechanical sales strategy! Wade brings tremendous knowledge and experience in the areas of metal fabrication, precision machining and system integration. We are confident that he will deliver immediate value to our customers desiring these services.”
Henderson has a wealth of background has a business development executive from major industry players. He started out in the industry in 1990 as an Engineering Manager at DSC Communications (now Nokia), managing a group of 20+ manufacturing engineers and documentation support analysts to support printed circuit production of $200M annually.
“My favorite part of the sales process is creating new organizational business relationships that end as long-term friendships,” commented Henderson. “I am most excited about the deep-rooted manufacturing knowledge, exceptional capability and personal commitment that exists at each Libra plant.”
Henderson worked as an expat in Asia for 5 years and has a strong understanding of global supply chain. He earned his BSEE (Biomedical Engineering) from Southern Methodist University, and MBA with emphasis on International Business and Finance from Rutgers University. Henderson is a voracious traveler (60+ countries) and has an appreciation for the vast similarities of different cultures.
