The real cost to manufacture a PCB encompasses everything that goes into making the product: the materials and other value-added supplies, machine and personnel costs, and most importantly, your quality. A hard look at real costs seems wholly appropriate.
Alternate Metallization Processes
Traditional electroless copper and electroless copper immersion gold have been primary PCB plating methods for decades. But alternative plating metals and processes have been introduced over the past few years as miniaturization and advanced packaging continue to develop.

American Standard Circuits to Exhibit at PCB West 2021
September 13, 2021 | American Standard CircuitsEstimated reading time: 1 minute
American Standard Circuits will be exhibiting at this year’s PCB West to be held in person on Wednesday, October 6 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, California.
President and CEO Anaya Vardya stated, “It is great to finally be attending this show live this year. This is one of our favorite shows of the year as it allows us to visit and discuss new projects with the designers and engineers of our customers from that area in person. The amount of exposure at PCB West always makes the investment of time and money worthwhile. We’re excited to see this return to a live event since we have not had the opportunity to visit face to face with many of these companies since the pandemic started over 18 months ago. I look forward to meeting with everyone in October.”
Be sure to visit ASC at PCB West in booth 618.
