Current IssueInner Layer Precision & Yields
In this issue, we examine the critical nature of building precisions into your inner layers and assessing their pass/fail status as early as possible. Whether it’s using automation to cut down on handling issues, identifying defects earlier, or replacing an old line...
Engineering Economics
The real cost to manufacture a PCB encompasses everything that goes into making the product: the materials and other value-added supplies, machine and personnel costs, and most importantly, your quality. A hard look at real costs seems wholly appropriate.
Alternate Metallization Processes
Traditional electroless copper and electroless copper immersion gold have been primary PCB plating methods for decades. But alternative plating metals and processes have been introduced over the past few years as miniaturization and advanced packaging continue to develop.

October 12, 2021 | American Standard CircuitsEstimated reading time: 1 minute
Mr. Anaya Vardya, President and CEO of American Standard Circuits, recently announced that his company has completely updated their facility and increased their technological capabilities with the installation of new equipment and implementation of cutting-edge processes.
“Over the past twelve months we have made great strides in upgrading our facility. We have improved our ionic reduction processes, upgraded lab equipment, installed two state-of-the-art HIOKI 1116-74 and 1270 electrical testers and a VEGA Ultra R6DL series PCB blind drilling and routing machine, as well as installing Averatek’s ASAP process. All of this was done with the express idea of providing our customers with the latest in cutting edge technology including very fine lines and spacing as well as increased metal backed and flex and rigid flex capabilities. We have brought ASC much closer to our goal of being the most capable and diverse independent PCB fabrication facility in the country today,” said Mr. Vardya when making this announcement.
