Koh Young America Promotes Joel Scutchfield to General Manager

Koh Young Technology, the industry leader in True3D™ measurement-based inspection solutions, announces its executive committee has appointed Joel Scutchfield as General Manager and Head of SMT Sales at Koh Young America effective October 20, 2021. He will assume day-to-day leadership of the Company, as well as continue to dedicate his expertise in developing tactics and strategies to improve sales. Juan Arango, who had been the General Manager at Koh Young America has resigned to pursue outside interests at provider of intelligent machines for the fabrication of Additively Manufactured Electronics (AME). We greatly appreciate the foundation he laid for our future and we wish him success.

Before joining Koh Young America nearly seven years ago, Joel worked at major manufacturing companies like Texas Instruments and United Technologies Corporation, before transitioning to equipment suppliers Panasonic Factory Automation and Omron Inspection Systems. He earned his Bachelor of Science from the Purdue University School of Polytechnic Science and Technology. With his background, Joel is focused on helping manufactures improve quality control and process optimization across a growing set of industries including printed circuit board assembly, machining, and semiconductors. To further promote the industry, Joel is a member in good standing with SMTA.
