SMTA: 2022 Charles Hutchins Grant Now Open for Applications

The SMTA is currently seeking student applications for the Charles Hutchins Educational Grant by April 29, 2022.
The $8000 Charles Hutchins Educational Grant was established in memory of past SMTA president, educator, mentor, and industry colleague, Dr. Charles Hutchins. The SMTA has awarded over $100,000 to Hutchins Grant recipients since 1998!
Eligible applicants must be full time, graduate-level students pursuing a degree and working on thesis research in electronics assembly, electronics packaging, or a related field. Interested applicants should visit the Hutchins Grant page to review the eligibility criteria and the award program, and to complete an application on SMTA website.
All required materials are due April 29, 2022. The Grant Committee reviews all qualified applications and makes their recommendation to the SMTA Board of Directors. The winner will be honored at the SMTA International Conference in Minneapolis, MN on October 31 - November 3, 2022.
