Altus Presents its Latest Additions to the Electronics Industry at Southern Show
February 15, 2022 | Altus GroupEstimated reading time: 1 minute
Altus, a leading supplier of capital equipment in the UK and Ireland, has hailed the Southern Electronics and Manufacturing exhibition a great success following their attendance at one of the most important and popular engineering shows in the UK calendar.
As the first UK show since the pandemic began over two years ago, Altus were pleased to present their latest range of equipment including some new portfolio additions. Matt Jones, Altus Sales Director said: “We were so happy to see our many customers new and old at the event in Farnborough. What made it extra special is that it was the first face to face contact we have with many of our clients since Covid began.
“The Southern Electronics and Manufacturing exhibition was the ideal occasion to introduce our most recent equipment updates and provided us with a platform in which to demonstrate how the latest machines will benefit our customer’s production lines. It was also a great opportunity to introduce our newest team members including Gareth Fenton our Sales Manager in Ireland
“It was the very first time the Alpha HS+ AOI from Koh Young and the YJ Link YLM Laser Marking system were exhibited. The systems proved to be a popular addition to our portfolio and commanded a lot of attention from those visiting the event.
“We are looking forward to following up with the many leads generated from the show and building on the relationships which began during the event.”
Also featured on the stand was Essemtec Fox 2 which combines jetting/dispensing, 2.5D placement, electrical testing, inventory control and traceability in a single machine. With a footprint of just under 11 sq. ft and accepting PCB sizes up to 16 x 12” it is the ideal system for those companies looking for an ‘all-in-one’ pick-and-place platform that will work perfectly for high mix, low volume assembly applications or on first production line.
