Bay Kim Meng Named New Business Development Country Manager Vietnam at ASMPT SMT Solutions

ASM Pacific Technology (ASMPT) is strengthening its SMT Solutions segment in Vietnam with a new appointment. Effective immediately, Bay Kim Meng is appointed as Business Development Country Manager in the Southeast Asian country. Beside proliferating sales and market coverage, the experienced manager will focus especially on customer service and the development of smart factories.
Bay Kim Meng has almost 30 years of professional experience in electronics manufacturing in Southeast Asia. He spent most of this time at ASMPT. Bay Kim Meng is intimately familiar with the company’s products and services as well as the wishes and needs of ASMPT. The new Business Development Country Manager will drive the business in an emerging and attractive market that has a great need for electronics manufacturing equipment, especially for the solutions needed to develop smart factories.
On the road to the smart factory
