Inovaxe to Showcase New LS350 at SMTA Dallas Expo
March 15, 2023 | InovaxeEstimated reading time: 1 minute

Inovaxe, a world leader and provider of innovative material handling and inventory control systems, will exhibit at the SMTA Dallas Expo & Tech Forum, scheduled to take place Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at the Plano Event Center in Texas. The Inovaxe team will showcase the new LS350 Smart rack with four rows of 7"reel storage for a maximum capacity of 192, 7", 8mm reels in less than 1.6 square feet of floor space.
The LS350 includes an integrated display running the standard InoAuto software, with additional features optimized for lineside usage, as well as an integrated 1D/2D barcode scanner. The Line Side Series racks can operate as standalone storage, or as part of a complete InoAuto system, and can interface directly with pick-and-place machines and MES systems to automate production operations.
LS350 racks can operate as stationary storage that stays on the production line, or they can be equipped with a battery to provide mobility – allowing operators to move racks back and forth from production lines and storage areas. The Line Side (LS) series of racks also are available to store 13 inch, 15 inch and mixed reel storage.
These new solutions will streamline SMT material handling processes by decreasing handling time, reducing errors and manual data entry, stopping line-down occurrences and eliminating the black hole of WIP.

Smart Automation: The Power of Data Integration in Electronics Manufacturing
06/24/2025 | Josh Casper -- Column: Smart AutomationAs EMS companies adopt automation, machine data collection and integration are among the biggest challenges. It’s now commonplace for equipment to collect and output vast amounts of data, sometimes more than a manufacturer knows what to do with. While many OEM equipment vendors offer full-line solutions, most EMS companies still take a vendor-agnostic approach, selecting the equipment companies that best serve their needs rather than a single-vendor solution.
