World Environment Day and Month Celebrations at Incap India
August 17, 2023 | IncapEstimated reading time: 1 minute

As part of our commitment to creating a greener and more sustainable planet, we were excited to celebrate World Environment Day with a month-long programme full of activities and competitions at Incap India.
Our team came together to plant saplings and play our part in making our surroundings greener. Following the theme of environmental conservation, we held an essay writing competition in both English and Kannada.
We also organised a theme-based drawing competition for employees and their children. It was inspiring to see the participants use their artistic talents to showcase the significance of preserving our environment. On the same day, we held speeches on environment conservation in relation to our factories at Incap India.
We ended the celebration with a closing ceremony where we distributed prizes to the competition winners. We were honoured to have our chief guest Mr. Shivamurthy B C, Environmental Officer at KSPCB (Karnataka State Pollution Control Board) and guest of honour Ms. Pallavi H V, Assistant Environment Officer at KSPCB, who attended the ceremony.
Congratulations to all the competition winners and thank you to all team members who participated in our World Environment Day activities. Let’s continue to take steps towards a more sustainable world.

Elementary Mr. Watson: Ensuring a Smooth Handoff From PCB Design to Fabrication
03/13/2025 | John Watson -- Column: Elementary, Mr. WatsonAt the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics, the U.S. men's 4x100-meter relay team had high hopes of winning a medal. The team comprised some of the fastest sprinters in the world, but something went wrong. In a relay, four runners must smoothly pass their baton to the next runner inside a zone on the track. If a runner drops the baton or it’s passed outside the zone, the team risks disqualification. The U.S. team’s pass between the second and third runner was messy, slowing them down. By the time the last runner received the baton, the team had lost too much time. They finished sixth in their heat and didn’t qualify for the final.
