Knightscope Caps Off Year with 6-Robot Expansion Contract
January 2, 2024 | BUSINESS WIREEstimated reading time: Less than a minute

Knightscope, Inc., a leading developer of autonomous security robots and blue light emergency communication systems, today announces a new expansion contract for 6 Autonomous Security Robots (ASRs) including 2 of its 5th Generation K5s and 4 K1 Hemispheres, bringing the total number of robots under contract for this client to 14.
A Detroit, MI casino is the 9th property to procure Knightscope’s ASRs under a larger master agreement announced in September with an entertainment company and operator of integrated entertainment, sports content, and casinos. The master agreement enables corporatewide expansion of Knightscope technologies to 43 properties across the United States. As noted prior, the benefits of selling to existing clients include shorter sales cycles, higher close rates, better margins, and an optimized cost-to-serve. Rapid expansion over the last 90 days includes other properties in Las Vegas, Nevada; Council Bluffs, Iowa; Aurora, Illinois; Shreveport, LA; Bossier City, LA; Lake Charles, LA; New Orleans, LA; and Kansas City, KS.
Knightscope was also invited to participate in the client’s upcoming Automation Showcase taking place at a leadership conference in February. Details will be announced separately, but the Robot Roadshow will be landing in Lake Charles, LA for a special appearance.
