Key Supplier for Mechanical and Optical Processes in the New Teltonika PCB Factory – Schmoll Maschinen GmbH
February 14, 2024 | Schmoll MaschinenEstimated reading time: 1 minute
Schmoll Maschinen is very happy to become the business partner of Teltonika and to become part of one of the biggest projects in the PCB industry in Europe for the last 5 years. It is very critical for us to provide superior-quality machines, services and support to our customers. During decision-making process together with the client, we were considering the following ideas:
- All machines should be fully automated and part program loading should be automatic to minimize the operator’s intervention.
- Customer should have the possibility to work both with mass orders and with small batches for prototyping. The configuration of machines should be flexible to be able to work with different materials and PCB designs.
- The accuracy, quality and configuration of mechanical and optical machines should be at the top level.
- Machines should be equipped with self-calibration functionalities
- Configuration of the machines should:
- be with maximum digitalization level
- be equipped with Industry 4.0 compatibility functionalities
- have all the needed traceability functions.
Those thoughts lead us to the following list of equipment:
- Eagle: 2 and 6-station drilling machines equipped with individual loaders and automatic collet cleaning
- Raptor: 2 and 6 station routing machines equipped with possibilities to do high-end depth routing
- MDI-TTG with Robomation: for direct imaging of inner and outer layers (fastest machine on the market)
- CombiDrill 500 laser drilling machine with integrated loader (compact UV + CO2 laser machine)
- XRA3. X-Ray machine for registration with highest contract on any materials, equipped with stack-to-stack automation
- SCM 412 with Robot: Fully automated scoring machine from LHMT
- proX3-SC-CCD: Measurement machine from Impex.
We will do our best to support Teltonika in their challenging project.

David Schild Addresses Printed Circuit Board Issues as a Panelist at AUVSI
10/30/2025 | PCBAAOn October 28, Printed Circuit Board Association of America executive director David Schild appeared on a panel at the Association for Uncrewed Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) conference on the topic of “First Supply Chains: Strengthening the Industrial Base for Autonomy.” PCBAA sponsored the event and Schild shared his views on issues facing the American microelectronics industry.
Driving Innovation: Mastering Panel Warpage
09/23/2025 | Simon Khesin -- Column: Driving InnovationDuring the complex and multi-step process of PCB fabrication, a panel's flatness is constantly at risk. A host of factors can introduce warpage, bending, and unevenness, presenting a fundamental challenge to achieving high-precision results. This deformation (sometimes referred to as “bow and twist”), even on a microscopic scale, can lead to critical defects during subsequent stages, such as component surface mounting (e.g., tombstoning, solder opens) and the PCB's long-term functional reliability.
Technica USA Announces New Strategic Partnership with I.T.C. Intercircuit Production GmbH
06/24/2025 | Technica USATechnica USA is pleased to announce a new distribution and representative agreement with I.T.C. Intercircuit Production GmbH, a globally recognized manufacturer of advanced equipment for the PCB manufacturing industry.
Smart Automation: The Power of Data Integration in Electronics Manufacturing
06/24/2025 | Josh Casper -- Column: Smart AutomationAs EMS companies adopt automation, machine data collection and integration are among the biggest challenges. It’s now commonplace for equipment to collect and output vast amounts of data, sometimes more than a manufacturer knows what to do with. While many OEM equipment vendors offer full-line solutions, most EMS companies still take a vendor-agnostic approach, selecting the equipment companies that best serve their needs rather than a single-vendor solution.
