NEOTech, a leading provider of electronic manufacturing services (EMS), design engineering, and supply chain solutions in the high-tech industrial, medical device, and aerospace/defense markets, is thrilled to announce the promotion of Emilio Ramirez to the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Emilio’s promotion comes as a result of his exceptional dedication and contributions to the success of NEOTech over the past 11 years. His experience and innovative leadership make him the ideal fit for this critical role in driving the organization’s technological advancements and corporate growth.
Emilio joined NEOTech in 2013 as the Director of Engineering at the Agave site in Juarez, Mexico. In this role, he implemented improved process development strategies and a comprehensive technology roadmap to support manufacturing sites in Mexico. Emilio also played a crucial role in streamlining logistics for transitioning completed products from Mexico to the U.S., ensuring seamless operations across the border.
Recognizing his outstanding performance, Emilio was promoted to Vice President of Engineering in 2017, expanding his responsibilities to oversee engineering operations across all NEOTech sites. In this role, he successfully led the development and growth of the NEOTech Engineering Services group, which encompasses Design Engineering, Test System Development, and Global Engineering Services. Emilio’s strategic initiatives significantly enhanced efficiency and production capacity, positioning NEOTech as an industry leader.
Emilio’s achievements, among others, include the establishment of the NEOTech Failure Analysis Lab and the integration of inspection and test infrastructure into the company’s Manufacturing Execution System (MES). This integration has promoted a culture of continuous improvement by providing real-time data on performance and efficiencies, driving excellence throughout the organization.
In his new role as Chief Technology Officer, Emilio will be instrumental in driving corporate sales growth through the development of a comprehensive technology roadmap. He will focus on upgrading NEOTech’s equipment footprint at every site and implementing cutting-edge technologies such as robotics, automation, and artificial intelligence to enhance quality and reduce manufacturing cycle times.
Kunal Sharma, NEOTech’s President and Chief Operating Officer, expressed the organization’s pride in promoting Emilio to the CTO position, stating, “Emilio’s promotion to Chief Technology Officer reflects not only his exceptional leadership and dedication but also the pivotal role he has played in driving NEOTech’s success.
