NCAB has announced the acquisition of ICOM, situated in Bachenbülach, just a 20-minute drive from Zurich. The owner, Bojan Zmijanjac, will continue to serve as Managing Director, collaborating with NCAB to further develop the business.
Sales, on an annual basis amounting to SEK 40 million, is mainly directed to Swiss customers in the medical, telecom and industrial sectors. ICOM has 6 employees and an EBITA margin in the same range as NCAB. The sourcing is mainly from China.
Benjamin Klingenberg, VP NCAB Europe, said, “With this action, we gain highly skilled and experienced personnel from the PCB industry, who will complement our existing capabilities and play a pivotal role in unlocking new growth opportunities in Switzerland. With Bojan staying on board we will soon see the benefits of a local operating organsiaton in this important market.”
