IBIDEN Co, Ltd. is pleased to announce that it has been selected for inclusion in MSCI Inc.'s(1) MSCI ESG Leaders Indexes Constituent, MSCI Japan ESG Select Leaders Index, and MSCI Nihonkabu ESG Select Leaders Index.
"MSCI ESG Leaders Index" is an index that selects companies with the highest environmental, social and governance rating from among mid-cap and large-cap stocks in the global MSCI Index. We have been selected for four consecutive years. In the "MSCI Japan ESG Select Leaders Index"(2), we have been selected for eight consecutive years since the launch of this index in 2017.
Regarding the MSCI Nihonkabu ESG Select Leaders Index(3) is included in the ESG index used by the Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF) of Japan for its investment management. Also, IBIDEN Co, Ltd. has received the highest AAA rating of a seven point grade scale in the MSCI ESG Ratings assessment (as of June, 2024). The AAA rating was awarded to only 44 of the 510 Japanese companies selected this time.

The index comprises Japanese companies with high environmental, social and governance performance selected by MSCI Inc. from among the constituents of the MSCI Nihonkabu IMI Index.
