Incap UK’s strategy to address these growing demands involves significant investments and a flexible approach. The strategic location of production facilities optimises operational efficiency, enhances responsiveness, and reduces logistics costs. Engineering support is vital, offering tailored solutions while upholding high standards of quality and efficiency.
Previous investments have played a crucial role in elevating Incap UK’s position within the manufacturing sector. Incorporating cutting-edge technologies, including an x-ray counting machine and flying probe test equipment has significantly enhanced the factory’s production capabilities and streamlined operations by improving accuracy and efficiency.
Building on these advancements, Incap UK has recently upgraded its first SMT (surface-mount technology) production line with the installation of the first fully automated high-precision solder screen printer of this model in the UK. This development marks the first phase of a EUR 1.5 million innovation investment aimed at enhancing the efficiency, flexibility, quality, and capacity of manufacturing operations.
Incap UK is set for major improvements with the introduction of PCB depanelling equipment, deployment of Aegis FactoryLogix software, and more new SMT equipment planned for 2024. Alongside these, substantial facility upgrades ensure the infrastructure meets industry-leading standards, supporting Incap UK’s technological advancements and sustaining the competitive edge.
The recent SMT line upgrade has already increased production capacity by 33%, showcasing the impact of this strategic investment. Ongoing investments benefit customers through access to cutting-edge technologies and bespoke solutions, while employees thrive in an environment that fosters growth and innovation. These investments enhance the company’s overall capabilities and market position, affirming Incap UK’s role as a leader in the electronics manufacturing industry.
