Adam Klett, KYZEN Director of Science, Re-elected to SMTA Board

KYZEN, the global leader in innovative environmentally responsible cleaning chemistries is proud to announce the re-election of Adam Klett, KYZEN Director of Science, to the SMTA Global Board of Directors.
During his first term on the SMTA Global Board of Directors from 2021-2024, Klett lead the Students and Young Professionals Committee in addition to serving on the Strategic Development Committee. He is currently chair of the Nominating Committee for 2024.
“I am honored to be reelected to the Board of Directors and am eager to continue serving our members and advancing our industry,” stated Klett. “I am particularly excited to further support our Students and Young Professionals initiatives, as we work to increase engagement and foster the next generation of leaders in our field.”
Klett holds both Bachelors of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in chemical engineering from Clemson University where his studies focused upon fluid-phase equilibria and polymer thermodynamics. He has authored peer-reviewed journal articles and holds a patent for novel solvent technology to purify and separate lignin into high-value engineering applications. He has also delivered more than 30 technical presentations at various events across the country and has published nearly a dozen industry technical papers.
In his role as Director of Science, Klett utilizes his experience in both the aerospace and electronics manufacturing industries to drive KYZEN’s innovation in cleaning technologies and practices. He also hosts the KYZEN.com weekly web series “Ask Dr. Adam” wherein he answers and explains questions regarding precision cleaning.
