Kimball Electronics 'Pinks the Town Pink' with Soup Fundraiser to Support Breast Cancer Awareness

Kimball Electronics recently held a successful fundraiser to support breast cancer awareness, partnering with the Memorial Hospital Foundation to provide life-saving mammograms to patients in need.
On October 22nd, Kimball Electronics Shared Services employees came together for “Pink the Town Pink,” a soup fundraiser organized by Becky Merder, Kimball Electronics Global Quote Manager. The event was a heartfelt initiative to raise funds for the Memorial Hospital Foundation’s Women’s Center Fund, supporting breast cancer awareness and critical mammogram services for patients in need.
Employees at Kimball Electronics headquarters enjoyed warm bowls of soup while contributing to a cause that touches countless lives. The Memorial Hospital Foundation, which provides life-saving mammograms for those facing financial barriers, expressed their gratitude, saying, “A huge thank you to Kimball Electronics for your generous gift to help pay for mammograms for patients in need! Thanks to your generosity, these funds could help save a life.”
Through Becky’s organization and the enthusiastic participation of the Kimball Electronics community, “Pink the Town Pink” underscored the company’s commitment to impactful, community-driven causes. This fundraiser not only raised funds but also raised awareness, showing once again that when it comes to supporting those in need, Kimball Electronics is ready to “pink the town.”
