L3Harris Equips New German H145M Helicopters with High-Performance Imaging Capabilities

L3Harris Technologies is providing WESCAM MX™-15D electro-optical/infrared sensor systems to Airbus Helicopters for the German armed forces and its new fleet of multi-role H145M helicopters.
The WESCAM MX-15D’s advanced multi-spectral imaging, stabilization and automatic video tracking provide the H145M with highly-advanced, airborne sight capabilities for ground and forward combat support, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and target acquisition missions.
“This integration marks an exceptional step forward for L3Harris on the international stage, integrating our advanced and reliable imaging systems on a leading air combat platform,” said Tom Kirkland, Vice President and General Manager, Targeting and Sensor Systems, L3Harris. “We are proud to partner with Airbus Helicopters, contributing to one of the largest deliveries to the German armed forces.”
The advanced EO/IR sensor system is supported by extensive customer service and localized WESCAM Authorized Service Centers (WASC) in Germany.
