LITEON+, LITEON Startup Platform, Expands International Partner Ecosystem
February 3, 2025 | LITEON TechnologyEstimated reading time: 2 minutes
LITEON Technology announced that the "LITEON+ Startup Platform" has formed an alliance with "Plug and Play Japan," one of the world's largest accelerators/venture capitals. This collaboration focuses on the "Deep Tech" theme, leveraging each other's startup ecosystems to introduce teams specializing in energy, sustainability, and AI. By linking diverse international resources, they aim to promote resource exchange and technology sharing within the startup ecosystem, driving the realization and market expansion of innovative applications, and further enabling cutting-edge green technology to drive sustainable value for the entire industry.
LITEON+ was established in 2023 with the vision of harnessing the power of startups to lead and drive green technology. Over the past year, LITEON+ has successfully connected Taiwanese and international startup teams, particularly in the fields of circular economy, low-carbon materials, and processes. Last year, LITEON+ began a collaboration with Japanese startup Elephantech, integrating advanced low carbon printed circuit boards (FPCB) into LITEON’s production processes. This not only accelerated the commercialization of sustainable technologies but also got a head start on low-carbon transformation, fulfilling their sustainability commitments. Through Plug and Play Japan, LITEON+ aims to combine international startup resources to advance breakthroughs in AI, energy, and sustainability. Utilizing LITEON's ecosystem resources, LITEON+ will provide guidance, proof of concept (PoC), and necessary resources to help startup teams gradually bring advanced technologies to market and accelerate commercialization progress.
Plug and Play, headquartered in Silicon Valley, California, operates across over 60 cities worldwide, leveraging its extensive network of startups and market expertise. Plug and Play Japan's "Deep Tech" theme is dedicated to uncovering innovations in technology and engineering to address critical sustainability and carbon reduction issues. Unlike general platforms, Plug and Play Japan focuses on upstream hardware and materials startups in the industry chain, aiming to advance integration within the industry value chain while enhancing carbon competitiveness. Plug and Play Japan shares LITEON's vision for sustainability and low-carbon transformation, hoping this collaboration will foster more progress in AI and green technology.
LITEON aspires to be a guide in the industrial ecosystem, leading the industry to build advantages and opportunities in low-carbon transformation. Through "LITEON+," they aim to vertically integrate upstream and downstream resources in the industry chain, continuously expand the international startup ecosystem, and jointly develop technologies and business models in AI, energy, and sustainability with startup partners. This will allow green frontier ideas to further grow and materialize, injecting new momentum into global technological innovation and sustainable development.
