NCAB Acquires 100% of B&B Leiterplattenservice GmbH in Germany

NCAB has signed an agreement to acquire 100 percent of B&B Leiterplattenservice GmbH (B&B) headquartered in Mittweida, west of Dresden. The company had net sales of around 150 MSEK in 2024 within the PCB trading with an EBITA exceeding SEK 20 million.
B&B earlier had a production facility of PCBs in Germany, which was closed in 2022, and another business line which has been divested.
B&B has a similar business model as NCAB with 25 employees, whereof 20 in Mittweida in Germany and 5 in China. B&B:s customers are mainly within industry and power sectors in Germany, but there is also some sales in Italy. B&B was founded in 1996, and the sourcing is today mainly from China and a partner in Europe. The deal is expected to close in the beginning of May and the sellers will stay during a transition period securing a smooth integration. The acquisition is expected to be earnings accretive for NCAB Group in 2025. Synergies are expected in the areas of suppliers, payment terms and logistics and will further strengthen NCABs position in the German market. The purchase price amounts to SEK 135 million with a possible further earnout of a maximum of SEK 28 million.
Benjamin Klingenberg, VP NCAB Europe:, said, “B&B is a high-quality business with a very good reputation, with many long-term customers and will be a good complement to NCAB Group Germany with is presence in Saxony. The business concept is similar to NCAB’s and B&B has a strong market position and promising business opportunities.
Frau Angelika Anders and Dr. Dieter Braun, said, “Since its foundation, we have built B&B to give excellent customer service and highest quality. We are very happy that with the NCAB Group we have a very good solution for the future of our company. We are confident that our employees and customers are in good hands in the new constellation with B&B as a part of NCAB.”
