MVTec Presents Advantages of Machine Vision for Battery Production
May 16, 2025 | MVTecEstimated reading time: 1 minute
MVTec Software GmbH, a leading international manufacturer of machine vision software, will once again demonstrate the added value of machine vision for battery production at this year's Battery Show Europe in Stuttgart. Visitors are invited to learn more about the benefits and applications of MVTec's software products at booth G20 in hall 6 from June 3 to 5, 2025.
The MVTec product portfolio includes MVTec HALCON, the comprehensive standard software for machine vision, MVTec MERLIC, the low-code software that enables even beginners to create complete and powerful machine vision applications, and the Deep Learning Tool, with which images can be easily labeled and thus optimally prepared for the deep learning methods of HALCON and MERLIC. MVTec's hardware-independent software solutions can be used to solve demanding inspection and automation tasks along the value chain of battery cell production - from electrode production to cell assembly and end-of-line testing.
At the booth, MVTec experts will present practical applications from battery cell production, such as the detection of coating defects, the precise measurement of battery cells, and the tracking of individual cells and modules using data code reading for traceability systems. They will also demonstrate how machine vision can be seamlessly combined with robotic systems.
