SMTA Elects New Board Members

The SMTA is pleased to announce its election results for the Global Board of Directors for the term beginning October 19, 2025. Elizabeth Benedetto, HP Inc.; Pratish Patel, Electronic Interconnect; and Sutharshan Suppiramaniam, SMT Elite Corporation, have been newly elected to the Board of Directors for the term 2025-2028.
Those remaining on the SMTA Global Board of Directors include: President, Greg Vance, Rockwell Automation; and Directors: Mumtaz Bora, pSemi; Priyanka Dobriyal, Ph.D., Lightmatter; Maurice Dore, Valeo; Jason Keeping, P.Eng., Celestica, Inc.; Adam Klett, Ph.D., KYZEN Corporation; Mike Konrad, Aqueous Technologies; Tom Rovere, Lockheed Martin; and Kirk Van Dreel, Plexus Corp.
The SMTA will bid a fond farewell to departing board members, Robert Boguski, Datest; Ravi Parthasarathy, M.S.Ch.E, ZESTRON Corporation, and Julie Silk, Keysight Technologies. As their time on the Board draws to a close, the SMTA expresses its sincerest gratitude for their continued service and dedication to the association and industry.

Strategically held as part of Arizona’s Tech Week, this year’s conference took place in Avondale in Phoenix's West Valley. The event moved from the cozy offices of the Peoria Sports Complex (which paid homage to baseball’s spring training world) to the larger Avondale Conference Center, highlighting the importance of this area for electronics manufacturing investment.
