Technica Hosts In-House Visit from PCBAA

David Schild, Executive Director of PCBAA (Printed Circuit Board Association of America) visited Technica USA to discuss the activity in the market and the advocacy of the PCBAA. The organization was formed to work on Capitol Hill, educating, advocating and getting congressional support to legislate on behalf of building a stronger PCB and substrate manufacturing base in the U.S. 

Technica USA Vice Chairman Frank Medina stated, "There is no better time for our customers and suppliers to get involved and become members. The CHIPS Act is now in full steam and the semiconductor industry is beginning to build a stronger manufacturing base here again in the U.S. The CHIPS Act was created to strengthen a vulnerable supply base, improve our national security and grow our economy. With the momentum in the semiconductor market, our industry is positioned to get the attention of Congress to help us build a stronger printed circuit board manufacturing base in the United States, which will ultimately create a more resilient electronics manufacturing ecosystem, which is important for our country."
