AT&S and SV Hinterberg joined forces for the organization, supported by committed partners such as the Montanuniversität Leoben, RHI Magnesita and the LE-Laufevent club. The walkers and runners, including many children and young soccer players, set off on the 5 km and 2 km routes directly in front of the AT&S headquarters before the fundraising party at the SV Hinterberg sports field provided a cozy finale.
The results are impressive: A whopping 5,200 euros ended up in the donation boxes for the Ö3 Christmas Miracle that evening. “It’s impressive what we can achieve together in the region,” said the new AT&S CEO Michael Mertin at the event. “The charity run is more than just a sporting event, it is a symbol of social cohesion and responsibility. Thank you to everyone who put their heart and soul into it.” After this premiere success, a continuation next year is worth considering.
This year’s fundraising at AT&S continues with internal campaigns and events. The final amount will be handed over live in the Ö3 studio in Salzburg on behalf of all partners shortly before Christmas.
The first charity run at AT&S in Leoben-Hinterberg on December 2 was a huge success and a strong sign of solidarity in the run-up to Christmas. 300 participants and visitors accepted the invitation and made the evening a special experience.
