Koh Young America to Exhibit at the “Texas Trio” of SMTA Expos
January 20, 2026 | Koh YoungEstimated reading time: 1 minute
Koh Young, the industry leader in True 3D measurement-based inspection and metrology solutions, announced that Chris Treadway, Regional Sales Manager, will attend three upcoming SMTA Expos in Houston, Austin, and Dallas. Together, the Texas Trio of one-day events combines tabletop exhibits with free technical sessions, giving electronics manufacturing professionals an efficient way to discuss real production challenges, explore application needs, and expand industry knowledge.
While large trade shows often focus on major launches, local SMTA Expos serve a different purpose. They create an accessible setting for engineers and production teams to compare notes with peers, talk through real-world constraints, and learn from technical presentations that broaden perspective across electronics manufacturing disciplines. The result is a day that balances direct supplier conversations with structured learning, helping teams return to their facilities with clearer direction and new ideas.
At each event, attendees can meet with Treadway to discuss inspection applications and current production challenges, including how teams are using measurement-based 3D inspection data to improve process control, reduce review workload, and make faster decisions when variation appears.
“SMTA Expos are a great way to have practical, technical conversations,” said Chris Treadway. “Bring your board, your process goals, and the challenges you are trying to solve, and we can talk through your application, what you are inspecting or measuring, and where the data can help you tighten control. The technical sessions are also a strong part of the day. Even when a topic is outside your exact process, it helps broaden your industry perspective and often sparks ideas you can bring back to your team.”
