MacDermid Alpha’s Ravi Bhatkal Elected Vice Chairman of INEMI Board of Directors

MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions, a business of Element Solutions Inc, is pleased to announce that Dr. Ravi Bhatkal, Vice President of Strategy, has been elected Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Electronics Manufacturing Initiative (INEMI).
Bhatkal was elected as part of INEMI’s 2026 Board of Directors and will serve alongside the consortium’s other board members. In his new role, he will help guide the organization’s strategic direction and support its mission to advance innovation across the global electronics manufacturing supply chain.
INEMI, an industry-led consortium, brings together manufacturers, suppliers, universities, research institutes, industry associations, consortia and government agencies to identify technology needs, address gaps, and accelerate the adoption of new technologies through collaboration.
At MacDermid Alpha, Dr. Bhatkal has helped shape the company’s strategic direction and strengthen its engagement with the broader electronics manufacturing industry. This new appointment reflects both his leadership and dedication to advance innovation across the electronics sector. At INEMI, Dr. Bhatkal has served in various leadership roles over the last two decades, as a Board Member, Technical Committee Member, Chair or Co-Chair of several INEMI Technology Roadmaps and as Project Leader.
