EPTAC, a global leader in electronics manufacturing training, has officially opened their new corporate headquarters and training facility in Salem, New Hampshire, expanding its footprint and capacity to support workforce development across North America. The company marked the opening on April 23 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and opening reception at its 14,000-square-foot facility at 7 Stiles Road, attended by state and local officials, industry partners, business leaders, and customers.
David Hernandez, vice president of the Global Electronics Association, addressed attendees and underscored EPTAC’s importance to both the industry and the nation. “We would not be able to help move the industry forward without EPTAC’s contributions,” he said. He added that EPTAC’s leadership plays a key role in developing and advancing standards across the electronics industry.
The expanded site is designed to increase EPTAC’s delivery of hands-on technical training and certification programs for electronics manufacturing, including sectors such as defense, aerospace and medical devices.
Company officials said the investment reflects growing demand for skilled workers as electronics technologies become more advanced and production requirements more stringent.
“This expansion strengthens our ability to deliver the hands-on training that today’s manufacturers require,” said EPTAC President and CEO Burak Gokmen. “We’re also deepening collaboration with industry, government and education partners to help build a more resilient and highly skilled workforce.”
EPTAC, which has operated for more than 35 years, runs 24 training locations across North America, along with online and on-site programs.
During the event, attendees toured the facility, met with instructors and watched soldering demonstrations showcasing the company’s training capabilities.
