Curtiss-Wright Corporation announced that it has been awarded contracts by Leidos valued at approximately $40 million to support the production of the U.S. Army’s Indirect Fire Protection Capability Increment 2 (IFPC Inc 2) system. Under the agreement, Curtiss-Wright will provide electromechanical actuation technology along with rugged, small form factor mission computers for mobile ground-based air defense systems.

IFPC Inc 2 is a ground-based air defense system designed to provide air-defense launching capability against rapidly evolving threats by acquiring, tracking, engaging and defeating cruise missiles, rockets and unmanned aircraft systems, and is expected to support Indo-Pacific operations for the Defense of Guam. Curtiss-Wright is performing the work within its Aerospace & Industrial and Defense Electronics segments.
