AdoptSMT Opens New UK Office With More Services

REDHILL, U.K. — AdoptSMT, European vendor of pre-owned electronic assembly equipment and consulting specialist for the SMT production line, opened a new U.K. facility near Gatwick airport and the M23/25. The location will provide a range of AdoptSMT’s services and products, including operations and support and other technical services to the U.K. market.
The facility is more than 600sq.m. with demo and training rooms as well as refurbishing and stock rooms for MYDATA equipment. It allows AdoptSMT to provide technical support, training and consulting as well as relocation services more quickly for its installed base of U.K. clients. More than 20 employees in sales and engineering will provide technical support.

AdoptSMT UK has two sites. Redhill, U.K. specializes in MYDATA machine sales, servicing, feeder sales, feeder repairs, refurbishment and spare parts. Cumnock in Scotland is the feeder overhaul and maintenance center with numerous customer refurbishment contracts in place as well as a general overhaul center for machines. It is also a specialist center for Universal equipment. The AdoptSMT group signed a preferred partner agreement also with Universal Instruments last year and part of this agreement is a spare parts distributor agreement. AdoptSMT is headquartered in Austria with more than 6500 m2, with AdoptSMT Germany GmbH with 2000 m2 specialized on Siplace overhauling and service, AdoptSMT Polska Spó?ka z o.o. with a small Siplace service facility and AdoptSMT Romania S.R.L. with a sales office. www.AdoptSMT.com.
