Horizon Sales Hires RSM to Cover Southern Region of Territory

Horizon Sales, a leading manufacturers’ representative corporation, specializing in the sales and marketing of premier electronics assembly equipment, today announced that David Smith has joined the team as Regional Sales Manager for Pittsburgh, Columbus, Dayton, Indianapolis, and Southern Kentucky. In his new role, David will be responsible for acquiring new customers and increasing sales with the company’s longtime existing customer base.
“We are excited for David to get started, and we’re confident that he will uphold the excellent reputation of professionalism, record-setting order rates and customer service that Horizon Sales has throughout our territory,” said Dave Trail, principal.
David holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology from Bowling Green State University. He has a strong background in electronics testing and manufacturing processes. His understanding of the industry allows David to hit the ground running.
Based in Troy, Ohio, David comes to Horizon Sales from a major aerospace electronics and harness manufacturer where he was a test engineer. Prior to that he served as a technical department leader for a company specializing in the manufacturing of noncontact measurement devices.
