GBM PCBA Business Achieves Slight Growth in June

Taiwan-based Global Brands Manufacture Ltd (GBM) has reported consolidated sales of NT$1.77 billion ($56.99 million at $1=NT$31.03) for the month of June, up by 7.8% from May. Of this, the company's printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) business accounted for NT$1.04 billion ($33,486 million), or 58.7% of its total business. Month-on-month, the PCBA division achieved a slight growth of 1.53%, but sales was down by 37% from last year.
For the first half of the year, GBM has achieved consolidated sales of NT$11.28 billion ($363.92 million), down by almost 25% from the same period last year. The company's PCBA business posted total sales of NT$7.1 billion ($229 million) for the period, down by 26.2% year-on-year.
