German Electronic Components Market Improves in 2Q 2015

Orders for electronic components in Germany have increased significantly in the second quarter of 2015, according to the ZVEI PCB and Electronic Systems. The total figure was 13.3% higher over the first quarter, but was almost at the same level as last year.
Total revenue, meanwhile, was up by 1.9% quarter on quarter, and up by 5.4 percent from the same period last year.
The book-to-bill ratio reached 1.13.
